Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's combat sport journey began at 14 years old. She trained in boxing kickboxing wrestling and BJJ before making her debut as an amateur at the age of 18, at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd later went on to beat three times within a row in Ultimate Reno Combat. All of her opponents had been defeated in the first five minutes. Then, she went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen was first beaten by Silvia Babyghian, before heading to take on Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 and fought Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen to beat her a unanimous vote, leaving a black mark on Ladd's records as an amateur. Ladd defeated Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff, and increased her record for amateurs to 8-1. Aspen made her debut with Invicta FC in 2015 to start her journey in professional boxing. Invicta Fc 11 she dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the one round with a TKO. The next time she fought, she won with Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission and went up to bantamweight to fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen employed the strong techniques she learned from wrestling to beat McGill. She ended her bout via TKO (3rd round) (elbows, punches). The next fight was against Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 at catchweight(138.1lb) as Ladd missed weight despite this Aspen dominated Hoy and defeated her in the second round via TKO. At Invicta FC21, she was the final bout for the company. The winner was Sijara Ebanks with a majority decision. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She was a step ahead of Lina with a ground-and-- - pounded her for the TKO victory in the 2nd round. She remained dominant, and won another victory over Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd took on Evinger to the punch in the first round she was awarded a Bonus Performance of the Night. Invicta FC's Sijara Ebanks was her opponent for a rematch at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. It was the fighter's first major match. The two fighters put on a back-and-forth encounter that ended with Ladd triumphing via a unanimous decision and each fighter receiving their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in just 16 seconds to end her winning streak. Following a brief break her return to the ring and finished Yana Kunizkaya in UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. In a recent match replacement for UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
