Richard Bruce Cheney is the son of Richard Herbert Cheney of the late Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. He was born January 30, 1941 at Lincoln Nebraska. After 13 years of age, old, he emigrated with his family into Casper in the western region of Wyoming in Wyoming, where his father was the director of the local district of soil conservation in the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
